Día de los Muertos in Miahuatlán

Join us a traditional mezcal producing community in the Sierra Sur of Oaxaca in celebrating Day of the Dead by saying farewell to the visiting souls and doing a tamal crawl, sampling tamales at various homes.

Includes:

  • Personalized guide and translation (Spanish/English)

  • Visit to a traditional mezcal palenque, learning about the process and history of the mezcal of the region directly from the producing family (copper distillation)
